India is the homeland of cotton. The fabric is woven from hand-spun cotton yarn with a very gentle twist, so soft that the character of the cotton itself is almost visible. Despite being cotton, it has a meltingly smooth texture. The fabric has a subtle transparency, and the pattern threads appear to float one by one, as if they were hand-embroidered. The simple color palette blends naturally with the skin, making it easy to coordinate for everyday wear throughout the seasons. Jamdani weaving is also known for motifs inspired by nature, such as flowers, leaves, birds, and animals. For this piece, KIMONO ARCH selected “tree” as the motif, reflecting the theme of the 25AW collection.
