For this piece, design data from Shibuya Font*², inspired by the image of stones gently rolling along, is expressed through three-dimensional towel fabric, creating a lively surface that feels as if it might begin moving at any moment. The charm of the cycle series lies in its one-of-a-kind expressions born from unexpected encounters. This haori brings together elements of chance and movement, resulting in a piece that feels vibrant and uplifting. Because the yarn thickness is intentionally uneven, the fabric develops a natural texture with gentle irregularity, while the loosely twisted sections reveal the softness of cotton in its pure form. Although the design is simple, the dimensional texture and comforting feel of the material evoke the relaxed ease of cozy loungewear. The fabric is made using high-quality Indian cotton, carefully handpicked and woven with raised pile to create a soft, fluffy finish. In addition, the yarns are dyed separately according to the characteristics of cotton and acrylic, producing a rich texture with subtle depth.
