山形県の老舗ニットメーカー「米冨繊維」と着物にも合わせられるベストをつくりました。
日本のトラディショナルなベストである”ちゃんちゃんこ”から着装を得ており、内ポケットがついていて一枚で羽織るだけで便利なアイテムです。サイドが開いているため、身幅を調節でき、どんな帯結びにも対応できます。
フロントとサイドについている紐は京都で組んでおり、帯締をイメージしました。和洋兼用でご着用いただけます。

Knitted Vest – Collaboration with Yonetomi Fibers, Yamagata

This knitted vest was created in collaboration with the long-established Yamagata knit manufacturer Yonetomi Fibers, designed to be worn with both kimono and Western-style outfits. Its design draws inspiration from the traditional Japanese “chanchanko” vest, featuring inner pockets for convenience—simply wearing it makes it functional and stylish.

The open sides allow you to adjust the width, making it compatible with any obi style. The front and side ties are handwoven in Kyoto, inspired by traditional obi cords, adding a subtle decorative detail. This versatile piece can be worn with both Japanese and Western clothing.
