「lattice」の名の通り、格子を思わせる柄を、ローゲージニットならではの立体的な編み地で表現しました。一種類の糸で編み上げることで、柄の陰影を際立たせています。

身頃は柔らかな印象に仕上げる一方、袖には大胆な編み地の存在感を持たせています。特徴的な編み地を生かしながら単色でまとめることで、さまざまな装いに取り入れやすい一着に。山形で培われてきたニットづくりの技術を生かし、アウターとしても着用できる厚手のカーディガンに仕上げました。

Designed to be worn with both kimono and Western-style clothing, this cardigan is meticulously tailored with attention to every detail—from sleeve widths tailored to match kimono sleeves, to a front placket that beautifully frames the collar, and a length and ribbing designed with obi tying in mind.

True to its name, “lattice,” the pattern evokes a grid-like design, rendered through the three-dimensional texture unique to low-gauge knitting. By knitting it with a single type of yarn, the pattern’s shading is accentuated.

While the body is finished with a soft, delicate impression, the sleeves feature a bold, textured knit that makes a statement. By keeping this distinctive knit in a single color, we’ve created a versatile piece that easily complements a variety of outfits. Utilizing the knitting techniques cultivated in Yamagata, we’ve crafted a thick cardigan that can also be worn as outerwear.
