【シブヤフォント】新作のはなび柄は、いわゆる「花火柄」でなく光の筋やイソギンチャクなど夏の情景が浮かぶデザインです。色柄の元気さとは反対に地色が落ち着いたベージュですので、帯次第で幅広いコーディネートが可能です。
日本独自の染色技法である「注染染め」は、染める際に染料を上から注ぎ下に抜くため、裏表なく染まります。微かな「にじみ」や「ゆらぎ」といった独特なニュアンスをお楽しみください。

渋谷でくらし・はたらく障がいのある人の描いた文字や絵を、渋谷でまなぶ学生がフォントやパターンとしてデザインしたパブリックデータ。さまざまなモノやコトに使われることで、より多くの人に渋谷を好きになってほしい、シティプライドを感じてほしい、そして障がいのある人の活動を知ってほしい。こうした願いがシブヤフォントに込められています。

[SHIBUYA FONT] New Fireworks Pattern Yukata

The new hanabi (fireworks) pattern is not a typical “fireworks print,” but rather evokes summer scenes such as streaks of light and sea anemones. While the pattern is lively and colorful, the base color is a calm beige, allowing for versatile coordination depending on your choice of obi.

This yukata is dyed using “chusen” dyeing, a traditional Japanese technique where dye is poured from above and absorbed through the fabric. This method ensures even coloring on both sides and produces subtle nuances such as gentle blurs and movement, giving each piece a unique character.

SHIBUYA FONT is a public design project where characters and illustrations created by people with disabilities living and working in Shibuya are transformed into fonts and patterns by students studying in Shibuya. By using these designs in various products and projects, the initiative aims to help more people appreciate Shibuya, foster city pride, and raise awareness of the activities of people with disabilities.
