KIMONO ARCHのオリジナル郡上下駄です。

岐阜県郡上市で420年続いてきた郡上踊り、徹夜踊りにも耐えられるよう、一塊の木から歯を削り出す「一体型」の作り方をしているため歯の部分に継ぎ目がないところが特徴です。

『美しく踊る』ゆかた姿が綺麗に見えるよう、高めの50mmの台に設定し、丈夫で良い音を鳴らすため、台には檜を使用しています。

白木の上品さと滑らかで高級感すら感じる触り心地から、鼻緒にKIMONO ARCHオリジナル、白地で星屑柄のstardustの生地を使用しています。前ツボや鼻緒裏は黒を使用し、全体を引き締めるように仕上げました。
底にビブラムゴムが貼り付けられているため、滑りずらい点も嬉しいポイントです。

お取り扱いの注意 :
・天然木のため、水濡れはシミや劣化の原因になります。
・雨の日は控え、もし濡れた場合は乾いた布で拭き取り、風通しの良い日陰で十分に乾かしてください 。
・直射日光が当たる場所や高温多湿の場所（車のトランクなど）に放置すると、木が割れたり反ったりすることがあります 。
・時々左右を履き替えると、片減りを防ぎ均一に減るようになります。
お手入れ方法 :
・乾いた柔らかい布で木目に沿って乾拭きしてください 。
・下駄箱にしまう際は、湿気がこもらないようにすのこや除湿剤をお使いください。


These are original Gujo geta sandals from KIMONO ARCH.

The Gujo Odori dance, which has been performed in Gujo City, Gifu Prefecture for 420 years, is a traditional dance that continues all night long. These sandals are made using a "one-piece" construction method, where the teeth are carved from a single block of wood, resulting in a seamless design.

To enhance the beauty of the yukata (summer kimono) worn during the dance, the soles are set at a slightly higher 50mm. The soles are made of cypress wood for durability and a pleasant sound.

The thongs feature KIMONO ARCH's original "stardust" fabric, a white background with a stardust pattern, offering an elegant and smooth feel. The front thong and the underside of the thongs are finished in black, creating a refined and polished look.

The soles are fitted with Vibram rubber, providing excellent grip.

Handling Precautions:
・Because it is made of natural wood, water exposure can cause stains and deterioration.
・Avoid wearing it on rainy days. If it gets wet, wipe it with a dry cloth and dry it thoroughly in a well-ventilated, shady place.
・Leaving it in direct sunlight or in a hot and humid place (such as a car trunk) may cause the wood to crack or warp.
・Occasionally switching the left and right sandals will prevent uneven wear and ensure even wear.
Care Instructions:
・Wipe with a dry, soft cloth along the grain of the wood.
・When storing in a shoe cabinet, use a slatted mat or dehumidifier to prevent moisture buildup.
