オリジナルの結城紬（つむぎ）です。
絣手合動力機を使い、均一かつ精密に織り上げました。
創業110年以上を誇るさんち問屋「奥順（ワールド結城）」との共同制作から生まれた逸品です。

＜デザイン＞
「天使のはしご」をイメージしました。天使のはしごが見られる時は、天使が舞い降りる幸せの前兆と言われており、幸せな一日を過ごしてほしいという気持ちを込めました。ダイアモンドモチーフの亀甲絣（かすり）で華奢なネックレス感を、雲のすき間からさす光のはしごを３種類の絣（かすり）で表現しています。カラーは夕暮れをイメージしたDuskBlueで染め上げました。

＜素材＞
経（たて）糸に真綿動力引糸（生糸絡み）と緯（よこ）糸には真綿動力引糸を使用し、経（たて）糸に生糸の強度を持たせることで、丈夫ですっきりとした質感に仕上げています。結城紬は真綿糸の節がある、ほっこりとした風合いが特徴ですが、着込めば着込むほどに真綿の毛羽立ちが薄まり、絹の光沢感が増していきます。風合いも柔らかくしっとりとした質感に変化し、着心地の良さが高まる着物です。

This is an original Yuki Tsumugi kimono.

Woven with a kasuri hand-alignment power loom, the fabric is finished with exceptional precision and uniformity. This special piece was created in collaboration with Okujun (World Yuki), a long-established textile wholesaler with more than 110 years of history in the Yuki production region.

Design
The design is inspired by “angel’s ladders,” the rays of sunlight that shine through gaps in the clouds. In folklore, when these rays appear it is said to be a sign that angels are descending, bringing happiness. This motif expresses the wish that the wearer will enjoy a joyful day.
Diamond-shaped kikko kasuri forms a delicate necklace-like pattern, while the rays of light breaking through the clouds are represented with three different types of kasuri. The color is dyed in Dusk Blue, inspired by the hues of twilight.

Material
For the warp threads, mawata-powered drawn yarn (with raw silk intertwined) is used, while the weft uses mawata-powered drawn yarn. By adding the strength of raw silk to the warp, the fabric achieves a durable yet refined texture.
Yuki Tsumugi is known for the gentle, rustic texture created by the natural slubs of mawata silk. As the kimono is worn over time, the soft fuzz of the silk gradually smooths out and the natural luster of silk becomes more pronounced. The fabric also becomes softer and more supple, making it increasingly comfortable to wear.

※ Each bolt is carefully pre-washed by hand in the Yuki production region, so delivery takes approximately three months.
