真夏にもお召しいただける久留米絣の夏着です。
これまで夏着物は、麻100%の小千谷縮や近江縮、絹100%の絽・紗が主流でしたが、綿の久留米絣に麻糸を織り混ぜることで、新しい夏着物が完成しました。久留米絣らしい伝統的な絣模様をふんだんに使用し、モンペの歴史から根付いた「パッチワーク」を織りで表現しています。

透け感は無いため、真夏は夏着物やゆかたとして、それ以外のシーズンでもアウターやインナー次第で通年ご着用いただけます。ふわりと軽い着心地はワンピースやパンツなど重ね着もおすすめです。

「forte bleach」は絣部分(紺色)以外を脱色して仕上げています。
藍止めを施していますが、着用中の摩擦や汗、水濡れによる色移りにご注意ください。

This is a summer kimono made from Kurume kasuri that can be comfortably worn even in midsummer.

Traditionally, summer kimono fabrics have mainly been ramie (Ojiya-chijimi or Omi-chijimi) or silk (ro or sha). By weaving linen yarn into cotton Kurume kasuri, a new type of summer kimono has been created. It features traditional kasuri patterns characteristic of Kurume kasuri, and expresses patchwork, rooted in the history of monpe workwear, through the weaving itself.

Since the fabric is not sheer, it can be worn as a summer kimono or yukata in midsummer, and throughout the year depending on how you style it with outerwear or inner layers. Its light and airy feel also makes it suitable for layering with items such as dresses or pants.

The color “forte bleach” is finished by bleaching all areas except the kasuri sections (navy). Although color fixing has been applied to the indigo, please take care to avoid color transfer caused by friction, sweat, or moisture during wear.

※ The version with piping, as shown in the wearing photos, is ¥92,950 (tax included).
※ Based on the fabric width and length, tailoring is available for approximately up to 165 cm in height and up to 70 cm sleeve length (yuki).
※ For long-term wear, we recommend adding an Ishiki-ate lining (+¥1,100).
※ Slight irregularities in the kasuri pattern are part of its unique character.
