絞りのさんちである有松・鳴海にて伝統技術を継承した絞り浴衣は、表面の凹凸効果により肌への接地面が少なく、さらりと快適にお召しいただけます。シワも目立ちにくく、気軽に着ていただけるのも絞りゆかたならではの魅力です。綿100％のやわらかな着心地をお楽しみください。
絞りの工程では、「くくり」のみカンボジアで行われるものがあります。日本では「くくり」の後継者が次第に少なくなっているため、有松鳴海絞りの技術が廃れないよう、日本の職人が海外にその技術を伝授しています。

＜デザイン＞
お星様を連想させる「籠目紋」を、絞りの絞られていない地の部分で表現しています。
今回は夏を存分に感じられて水滴が弾けてきそうなカラーにてご用意しました。

This shibori yukata is crafted in Arimatsu-Narumi, a region renowned for traditional shibori techniques. The raised texture of the fabric reduces contact with the skin, keeping it cool and comfortable. Wrinkles are less noticeable, making it easy to wear while enjoying the soft, 100% cotton feel.

In some shibori processes, the tying (“kikuri”) is done in Cambodia. As successors for this step in Japan are becoming scarce, Japanese artisans teach the technique overseas to preserve the Arimatsu-Narumi shibori tradition.

Design:
The pattern evokes stars with a “kagome-mon” motif represented in the untied areas of the fabric. The color is vibrant and reminiscent of summer droplets. Oshiki-ate (lining) is available upon request.
