This is a half-width Hakata-ori obi woven with colorful paper-cloth threads.
The stitch-like design features two lines on one side and one line on the other, allowing you to wear it on either side. The colorful threads add a lovely accent. The paper-cloth fringe becomes softer and fluffier, like fur, the more you wear it.
Made from densely woven Hakata-ori with a silk base, this obi holds its shape well and allows you to enjoy a variety of tying styles. Wear it year-round, from yukata to casual kimono.
