伝統的な久留米絣に印象的なデザインとウールを組み合わせ、秋冬の装いに取り入れやすい一着に仕上げたきものです。
仕立て上がりの着姿を思い描きながら、絣模様の太さや配置、全体のバランスまで細かく設計。無地場と絣模様を横のラインで構成することで存在感を持たせながら、久留米絣ならではのやわらかく温かな表情が全体をやさしくまとめています。
細かな絣模様を大胆な構成の中に組み込んでいるため、織りの際には一つひとつの柄を正確に合わせる高い技術が求められます。つくり手にとっても挑戦的なものづくりを通して、繊細な絣模様と美しい無地場を組み合わせたデザインに仕上げました。
さらに、久留米絣にウールを掛け合わせることで、季節感のある風合いと温もりを加えています。

This kimono combines traditional Kurume Kasuri with striking designs and wool, creating a piece that’s easy to incorporate into your fall and winter wardrobe.
Every detail—from the width and placement of the Kasuri patterns to the overall balance—was meticulously designed while envisioning how the finished garment would look when worn. By arranging the solid areas and Kasuri patterns in horizontal lines, the design exudes a strong presence, while the soft, warm character unique to Kurume Kasuri gently ties the entire look together.
Because the intricate kasuri patterns are incorporated into a bold composition, the weaving process requires a high level of skill to precisely align each individual pattern. Through this challenging creative process—even for the artisans—we have crafted a design that combines delicate kasuri patterns with beautiful solid-color sections.
Furthermore, blending Kurume kasuri with wool adds a seasonal texture and warmth.
