さまざまな太さの糸で織り上げられた、風合いの異なる久留米絣の生地を一枚一枚つなぎ合わせることで、“さんち”のものづくりの奥深さを感じられる一着に仕上げました。
パッチワークならではのカジュアルな印象で、タートルネックやスニーカーなど、日常のアイテムとも馴染みやすく、組み合わせ次第で新鮮な着こなしを楽しめます。
毎年異なる生地で仕立てるため、その年ごとに新しい表情に出会えることも魅力の一つです。

These “patchwork kimonos” are crafted by transforming fabric scraps into new garments, carrying on the Kurume Kasuri tradition of making the most of every piece of fabric and creating items that blend seamlessly into daily life.
By piecing together individual pieces of Kurume Kasuri fabric—each with a unique texture woven from threads of varying thicknesses—we’ve created a garment that conveys the depth of “Sanchi’s” craftsmanship.
With the casual vibe unique to patchwork, it pairs effortlessly with everyday items like turtlenecks and sneakers, allowing you to enjoy fresh new looks depending on how you style it.
Since it is crafted from different fabrics each year, discovering a new look every season is part of its charm.
