もんぺの動きやすさと素朴な魅力はそのままに、ARCHらしいもんぺを作りました。

昔ながらのもんぺの形をベースにサイズ感を調節し、ウエストや裾にリボンをあしらい、飛び跳ねたくなるような遊び心を加えました。
リラックス感たっぷりの着心地に、可愛らしさと素朴な魅力の詰まった一着になっています。
同じ生地を使用した作務衣とセットでもお楽しみいただけます。

松煙・弁柄・柿渋といった天然染料で糸を染め上げ、小千谷地域に特徴的な「乱絣」を織り込んだ、“さんち”の風土をまとう一着です。
松の煤（すす）を用いた松煙染めの深みある墨色をベースに、赤土の温もりを感じる弁柄染めや、独特の風合いや経年変化が魅力の柿渋染めを重ね合わせ、やわらかな奥行きを表現しました。

We’ve created a pair of monpe that retains the ease of movement and rustic charm of traditional monpe, while adding ARCH’s signature touch.

Based on the classic monpe silhouette, we’ve adjusted the fit and added ribbons at the waist and hem to give them a playful vibe that makes you want to jump for joy.
The result is a piece that’s packed with cuteness and rustic charm, offering a relaxed and comfortable feel.
You can also enjoy them as a set with the samue made from the same fabric.

The yarn is dyed with natural dyes such as pine soot, benigara, and persimmon tannin, and woven with the “Ran-kasuri” pattern characteristic of the Ojiya region—a garment that embodies the spirit of “Sanchi.”
Using the deep ink-black of pine soot dye as a base, we’ve layered it with benigara dye—which evokes the warmth of red clay—and persimmon tannin dye—known for its unique texture and the charm of its aging process—to create a soft sense of depth.
