作務衣の動きやすさと素朴な魅力はそのままに、ARCHらしい作務衣を作りました。

デザインはシンプルながら、衿元や袖口などにリボンやギャザーをあしらい、飛び跳ねたくなるような遊び心を加えました。
衿にはワントーン明るい別生地を取り付けることですっきりとした着こなしができます。
同じ生地を使用したもんぺとの組み合わせもおすすめです。着方のアレンジもできるので、思い思いのスタイルをお楽しみください。

松煙・弁柄・柿渋といった天然染料で糸を染め上げ、小千谷地域に特徴的な「乱絣」を織り込んだ、“さんち”の風土をまとう一着です。
松の煤（すす）を用いた松煙染めの深みある墨色をベースに、赤土の温もりを感じる弁柄染めや、独特の風合いや経年変化が魅力の柿渋染めを重ね合わせ、やわらかな奥行きを表現しました。

We’ve created a samue that embodies ARCH’s signature style while retaining the garment’s signature ease of movement and rustic charm.

Though the design is simple, we’ve added playful touches—like ribbons and gathers at the collar and cuffs—that make you want to jump for joy.
By attaching a separate fabric in a shade one tone lighter to the collar, you can achieve a clean, streamlined look.
We also recommend pairing it with monpe made from the same fabric. Since there are various ways to style it, please enjoy creating your own unique look.

This garment embodies the spirit of the “Sanchi” region, featuring threads dyed with natural dyes such as pine soot, benigara, and persimmon tannin, and woven with the “Ran-kasuri” pattern characteristic of the Ojiya area.
Using the deep ink-black of pine soot dyeing as a base, we’ve layered it with benigara dyeing—which evokes the warmth of red clay—and persimmon tannin dyeing—known for its unique texture and the charm of its aging process—to express a soft sense of depth.
